Final Straw
I can fix allot of things. But I also know when to hire out work that takes specialty tools and knowledge.
If you live with someone that can fix most everything , or build from scratch most anything else, it’s not wise to verbally abuse that person when they say they can’t fix something. Hippie Chick has burned up the transmission on her truck, and is looking at a $1800 repair bill....

Problem resolved
Tow truck called, transmission shop set to receive. Reminding her to pick up my antibiotics for the ongoing pneumonia she’s been bitching at me to slow down and rest for may have been a light bulb moment.

Taking a break from the snow removal
Had to call the hobby store about my new electric motor for my R/c airplane. They found the one step I missed in the step up ( that is NOT written on the instructions) and now it will levitate a 2 ft square piece of plywood I use on my desk for soldering and things like securing motors.
This board weighs over twice what the airplane does.
This will take this model to accelerating straight up....
Gawdawful nieghbors moved out yesterday.
The Screamer family slunk out of the rental house next to us last night, best Christmas present ever.
I get along with most people, and especially kids. But these kids were punished for waving hello to neighbors, the mom had one tone, piercing screech. I can’t hear road crews grinding up the street , but I could here her, to give you an idea of her volume. I won’t miss her piling...
Set snow blower to 'kill'.
6 inches of snow on the ground, up to 4 more on the way. Just started my second round of antibiotics for pneumonia. This will not be a happy day for me.
Still using those hunting skills
Had to walk over to the pharmacy to get more antibiotic, because fevers tend to make me have seizures, so no driving til I’m better. On the way back a squirrel was bobbing his head over a fence waiting for the coast to be clear. I snuck up to his position and when he popped up I reached up and booped his nose, lightly. Still good to know I can sneak pretty well. He did call me dirty squirrel...
